Why am I not receiving real-time unlocking notifications for my lock?

Step 1: Update the App

  • Ensure your MyGate app is up to date for optimal performance.

  • Visit the App Store or Google Play Store to get the latest version.

Step 2: Calibrate the Lock Clock

  • Open the Lock Clock option in the app.

  • Tap Calibrate Time to make sure your lock is displaying the correct time.

Step 3: Reboot Your MyGate Smart Lock

  • Remove the batteries from the lock.

  • Wait 10 seconds.

  • Reinsert the batteries to reboot your lock and refresh its connection.

Step 4: Wi-Fi Connectivity Check

  • Open the MyGate app and tap on "Manage Locks".

  • Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.

  • Use the diagnostics tool to check the Wi-Fi status and reconfigure if necessary. 

Pro Tip: Be close to the lock and ensure it’s awake during setup for the best results!

Important Notes:

  • 5G Wi-Fi is not supported always use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for seamless connectivity.

  • Ensure an active internet connection during setup to guarantee smooth operation.
