Why am I not receiving real-time unlocking notifications for my lock?
Step 1: Update the App
Ensure your MyGate app is up to date for optimal performance.
Visit the App Store or Google Play Store to get the latest version.
Step 2: Calibrate the Lock Clock
Open the Lock Clock option in the app.
Tap Calibrate Time to make sure your lock is displaying the correct time.
Step 3: Reboot Your MyGate Smart Lock
Remove the batteries from the lock.
Wait 10 seconds.
Reinsert the batteries to reboot your lock and refresh its connection.
Step 4: Wi-Fi Connectivity Check
Open the MyGate app and tap on "Manage Locks".
Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
Use the diagnostics tool to check the Wi-Fi status and reconfigure if necessary.
Pro Tip: Be close to the lock and ensure it’s awake during setup for the best results!
Important Notes:
5G Wi-Fi is not supported always use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for seamless connectivity.
Ensure an active internet connection during setup to guarantee smooth operation.
