How do I add the Wi-Fi gateway to my MyGate lock, and how can I check the status of the gateway connection?
Step 1: Update the MyGate app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 2: Plug the gateway device into a power source. It will start blinking with red and blue lights, indicating that the gateway is ready to be configured with the lock and your Wi-Fi.
Step 3: Open the MyGate app, tap on your lock, and select your lock name at the top of the screen. You will see an option to add the gateway. Tap on Add Gateway.
Step 4: Enter your Wi-Fi credentials into the gateway. Make sure the gateway is placed near the lock for the best connectivity.
Note: Please note that you should be near the lock and the lock should be awake while configuring the gateway. Additionally, Bluetooth should be turned on when you are setting up the gateway for proper connectivity.
How to Check if the Lock is Connected to the Gateway:
To check if the lock is connected to the gateway, simply tap on the lock name at the top of the screen. You will see the details of both the lock and the gateway. Tap on Gateway to view which lock is connected to it.
