MyGate locks come with a battery life of 4 - 6 months, based on an average cycle of 10 operations a day. If you're experiencing battery-related issues, please follow these steps:
- Use Recommended Batteries: Ensure you are using Duracell Ultra batteries, as MyGate recommends these for optimal performance. Avoid using other brands or types, as they may cause issues.
- Check Battery Installation: Verify that the batteries are inserted correctly and that there is no loose contact or leakage.
- Perform Battery Sync: While staying near the lock, perform a battery sync through the settings option in the MyGate app to ensure the battery status is accurate.
