My lock battery is draining very fast. Please assist.

MyGate locks come with a battery life of 4 - 6 months, based on an average cycle of 10 operations a day. If you're experiencing battery-related issues, please follow these steps:

  1. Use Recommended Batteries: Ensure you are using Duracell Ultra batteries, as MyGate recommends these for optimal performance. Avoid using other brands or types, as they may cause issues.
  2. Check Battery Installation: Verify that the batteries are inserted correctly and that there is no loose contact or leakage.
  3. Perform Battery Sync: While staying near the lock, perform a battery sync through the settings option in the MyGate app to ensure the battery status is accurate.
  4. Watch the Diagnostics Tool Functionality

     Always perform this activity whenever you make any changes to the lock settings.
