Remote unlocking is not working, how do I fix it?

We believe your gateway may need reconfiguration to restore full functionality. Please follow the steps below to get the remote unlocking feature working again:

🔧 Before You Begin:

- Make sure your MyGate or MyGate Smart Devices app is updated to the latest version.
- Ensure your phone’s software is also up to date.

Steps to Fix the Issue:

 1. Unplug the gateway’s power source.
 2. Turn off your internet router and wait for 10 minutes, then turn it back on.
 3. While waiting:
- Open the MyGate or Smart Devices app.
- Go to Settings > Diagnostic Tool.
- Tap Calibrate Lock Clock (this syncs the lock with your phone’s time).
4. After 30 minutes, reconnect the gateway’s power supply.
5. Open the MyGate app, go to “Add Device”, and re-add your gateway.
6. Ensure the gateway is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
7. Wait about 5 minutes  the remote unlock feature should now be functional.
